The Mahaska Community Recreation Foundation (MCRF) isn't only taking advantage of the great weather to make progress at the Oskaloosa Urban Park, but also at the Lacey Recreation Complex.

Wednesday morning Chad Rietveld and John Oslon worked hard to shingle the new kiosk being built at the Lacey 5-plex. The new kiosk will convenience those charging admission to games or tournaments and also spectators as schedules for tournaments and Little League practices will be posted there. Progress has been moving along nicely with the mild winter weather and has allowed for development projects to continue. The goal is to have the kiosk complete for the first tournament scheduled the last weekend in march.
